Basé dans le Sud-Ouest de l’Angleterre, il est influencé par de vieux groupes rock classique comme Elo et Tom Petty, mais aussi par la musique Irlandaise folklorique de The Fureys.

Jas souligne tout particulièrement ses principales influences avec Turin Brakes, The
Lumineers et The Mighty Oaks…

Il se forge en jouant sur des titres de Eric Clapton et Ry Cooder.. Il joue également avec des groupes de jazz et de blues locaux lui permettant de faire de la scène de temps à autre sur des standards comme Watermelon Man.

Ces expériences contribuent à le façonner et à faire de lui un artiste scénique très assuré. Dirigeant un grand nombre de groupes, il se diversifie dans de multiples musiques originales.
Membre du groupe londonien Funk Band, il fonde également Roll with Dice et sort l’album Full Circle sous le label anglais VRecords.

Arrivé en France en 2017, ses talents de compositeur l’amènent à se produire sur scène, avec ses bassiste et batteur de talents.

Il continue l’aventure en créant The Jas Walker band qui réalise l’EP Masquerade avec des morceaux originaux et rayonnants.

Raised in the South-west, Jas’s influences hark from listening to old classic rock bands such as ELO and Tom Petty, as well as Irish folk outfits such as ‘The Fureys’. More recently Jas lists his big influences as ’Turin Brakes’, ‘The Lumineers’ and ‘The Mighty Oaks’ among others.

Jas ‘cut his teeth’ playing along to Eric Clapton and Ry Cooder records and playing live with local Jazz and blues bands who allowed him to come onstage to play ‘watermelon man’ once a fortnight albeit with much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the audience!

However, those early ’experiences’ certainly helped shaped Jas’s live act and helped to create a performer very at ease playing onstage and in front of audiences.

Jas has fronted a large number of bands, playing a diverse range of original music. These include a London based Funk Band and Jas’s previous band ‘Roll with Dice’ which released one album (‘Full Circle’ via UK Label VRecords).

Since arriving in France in 2017 , Jas has been writing solidly and playing live concerts with his vastly talented bassist and drummer to create a full set of high energy original songs.

This has recently resulted in the eagerly awaited EP ‘Masquerade’.
